LAST SUNDAY/ THIS SUNDAY

LAST SUNDAY we started a brand new series called UPGRADE. The message was all about Forgiveness. Perry said forgiven people should forgive people! At the end of the message Perry used the visual aid of a key to help us see the "prison" that we can free ourselves from if we would forgive others. You can watch the entire message here... http://www.newspring.cc/series/upgrade/forgiveness/

On a personal note, last week was incredible for my family and especially my wife. Before moving to Charleston my wife and I prayed and continue to pray that God would put us in the path of lost people. We pray that He would set up divine appointments that we can't avoid. Not long after moving to Charleston my wife started taking our kids to a reading time at a local Barnes & Noble every week. She was taking the kids just to have something that would get them out of the house, but God had set up one of those appointments we had prayed for. There she met a lady with three kids and they began to talk. My wife invited her to church and she decided to come. She came almost every week to our preview services. Around Christmas time she stopped coming and about three weeks into our launch she sent a text to my wife saying she wasn't going to come again because church wasn't for her. About three weeks after that she sent my wife a text saying she was coming to church and that everywhere she turned that week people were talking about God and church. This was two weeks ago and she was one of the 21 people who raised their hands that Sunday and accepted Christ. Last Sunday was so great because my wife was able to sit down with her in between services and talk with her about her decision. We know she will be in heaven with us and we pray now for her husband to experience the same life change!

That is why we do what we do! Thank-You Jesus!!

THIS SUNDAY we are continuing UPGRADE. We have a few "small" surprise worship leaders joining us this week. You do not want to miss this!

We are also going to be baptizing this Sunday. I love seeing people go public with their faith. If that is your next step, it's not to late. You can email charleston@newspring.cc to sign up!

I had someone ask me this Sunday if you have to be baptized to be a part of NewSpring. If you haven't been baptized after salvation and if you haven't been baptized by immersion, then the answer is yes. If you are a Christ-follower and you have already been baptized by immersion you do not have to do it again; you just need to come to an Ownership class and then you can join NewSpring. Our next available class is next Sunday, March 13th. Email charleston@newspring.cc for details or signup this weekend at Guest Services.

This week we are also able to load-in on Saturday. If you are available to help, join us at the Convention Center in Ballroom A from 9:30am - 11:30am.

Sunday is also Ali, our Kidspring Director's birthday! Parents: no gifts needed, but please be sure to say Happy Birthday if you see her! She works so hard to make sure our kids have fun and learn about Jesus on their level each and every week. I know she will appreciate it. THANKS!!!

I hope you are inviting or praying that God would bring someone around you to invite each and every week!

CAN'T WAIT FOR SUNDAY!!!
